5.20.09 Utility Players Show: Behind the Scenes.

Last night's show went really well. Right now we don't have a permanent stage manager, so right now we're all handling our set changes and effects (except for lighting and music of course, we have Joe the Awesome Sound/Lights man up in the booth). Last night we were pretty well choreographed for all of the changes.

During the Inspector Gadget sketch, Jes mistakenly pulled Erin's wig off. Apparently she thought that Erin didn't need it anymore. Erin ended up yanking it back and having to rush to get back into the scene on time. I was rolling in laughter. It's hard to hold back my laughter when I'm back stage...and a lot of the time I don't even try.

Tyler was a really good sport about us poking fun at him for an entire evening. He found out about his parts that day. He also played a great set! He's going to be performing tomorrow night at Studio on 4th with Jelly Bread and Josh Berry & The Imposters. 

We had a really fun after party involved Trainspotting, Awful Awfuls and Joe's World Famous Honeybear Stew. It was a great night, but also the culprit involved in my waking up later than usual this morning. Make double sure you come to our show next Wednesday! The theme is "TV Covers."
